2021 General Meetings
General club meetings are held at 7:30 p.m. on every third Tuesday of the month (except July and August) at the Democratic Club of Taylor, 23400 Wick Rd, Taylor, MI 48180. All visitors are welcome!
Meetings will resume Tuesday, May 18th at 7:30 p.m. at the Democratic Club of Taylor, 23400 Wick Road, Taylor, MI 48180. Masks and social distancing are required.
2021 Meeting Dates
At this time limited member workshops will be meeting under specific conditions until Covid-19 is under control. Reservations required.
Lapidary Workshop June 7th, 21st and 23rd
Reservations are required to attend. Masks must be worn. $2.50 fee per workshop. First and third Mondays, and third Wednesday of each month. Please contact Frank for more info or to reserve a spot.
June 11 Board Meeting, Rockpile Deadline June 15 General Meeting Face Masks are required.

Rocks and Gems for sale at Auction

We have a lifetime collection of rocks and gems for sale at auction on July 31, 2021, at 150 S. Ray Quincy Rd. Quincy, MI. The Everline Family Living Trust auction will be ran by Spieth & Satow Auctions.
A very few pictures of the rocks can be viewed at www.spiethandsatow.com. The pieces are whole, cut, sliced, cabochons and a lot of finished jewelry. Some pieces are polished and some are raw. There are pieces of turquoise, obsidian, all kinds of agates, opals, rhodochrosite, tiger’s eye, geodes and fossils to name just a few. There is lots of petrified wood, all sizes and a couple pieces are a slab approximately 4 and 8 inches thick. This collection was started in the 50’s from Wyoming, Colorado, Utah, Arizona & New Mexico. We have a rock saw, sanding wheels, buffing wheels, rock tumblers and silver jewelry ready to put your favorite piece in. There are also many pieces of turquoise and stone jewelry such as rings, pins, necklaces and bolo ties along with a small acrylic table set with agates. We also have an vast collection of all kinds of seashells such as worm shell, augers, sand dollars, sundial, banded tulip, slippers, coquina, cat’s paw, cockle, conch, whelks, scallops pen shells, coral, etc. that make beautiful figurines or jewelry. Please forward this to anyone that might be interested. We were pressed to have this sale in a short time and there was not enough time to advertise these treasures well.
